The Worshipful Company of Glovers held a Livery Lunch at the Fishmongers’ Hall, London on the 2nd of July 2013. Kelly, from our design team, was invited to attend as one of the judges for the student prizes.Guest of honour HRH The Countess of Wessex and the Master Glover presented awards to the students.

The Livery Lunch is a fabulous event, where students are awarded prizes under three categories.

Here is a list of the categories and winners:

Design a pair of men’s or women’s fashion gloves for Autumn/Winter 2013

Winner: Christopher Huckbody – Huddersfield University.

Runner up: Louise Collier – University of Lincoln.

Design a DIY glove

Winner: Fay Richardson – Huddersfield University.

Runner up: Emma Dawson – Norton College, Sheffield.

Dents prize for the most commercial glove
