Sizing
How do I find my size?
We appreciate that every hand is different with no two hands being the same size. Over our 240 years of manufacturing gloves, we have found the best way to find your size is to measure the circumference of your dominant hand.

Do I need to size up for gloves with thicker linings?
We would advise choosing the larger size if you are between sizes with sheepskin linings as these are a tighter fitting glove due to the thicker lining.
Do you offer different finger lengths?
Yes, we have a small selection of styles that have shorter finger lengths. These are approximately 1cm shorter than our standard finger length. Please click the link below to view these.
Can you make a bespoke pair of gloves?
Unfortunately, we are unable to make bespoke gloves or provide any alterations on our products.
Linings
What is your warmest leather glove?
We have many different linings to offer and below is what we would rank top to bottom as the warmest:
- Vicuna - This luxurious wool lining is extremely warm and exquisitely soft and is our top of the range for warmth and comfort.
- Natural skins - For optimum warmth try the natural fibres of our sustainably sourced sheepskin to keep you warm.
- Cashmere - Finest cashmere for a touch of luxury.
- Wool - Warm and durable
- Silk - The perfect insulator for gloves, keeping you warm in winter and cool in summer.
- Unlined - For maximum feel, ideal for driving and mild weather.
Delivery
How will my parcel be delivered?
UK STANDARD TRACKED DELIVERY
This service usually takes 3 to 5 days, but during busy periods like Christmas, Sale periods, Black Friday or during strike actions, deliveries can be disrupted and can take up to 10 working days to arrive.
Please Note: Royal Mail have now implemented a “SafePlace Delivery”, so if there is no recipient in to accept your parcel, Royal Mail may choose to deliver your parcel to a SafePlace location at the address, but only if they deem that location to be suitable. If it is they will also leave a “Something for You” card explaining where the parcel(s) has been left. If they are unable to find a suitable SafePlace and cannot deliver to a neighbour, they will return your parcel(s) to our local Royal Mail Customer Service Point and leave a “Something for You” card at the address. This will apply to any parcels that cannot fit through the letter box or products that do not require a signature on delivery.
UK EXPRESS DELIVERY
For express deliveries your order needs to be placed before 1pm UK time. Delivery is 1-2 working days (excludes Weekends and Public Holidays).
Returns and Exchanges
To make Christmas gift buying a little less stressful, we are extending the period for returns. Any purchase made from 1st November 2023 to 24th December 2023 may be returned until 22nd January 2024 (all dates inclusive).
How do I return an item for a refund?

When can I expect my refund?
All refunds will be processed within 7-14 days of receipt of returned goods.
How will the refund payment be processed?
Your refund will be made using the same payment method which made the original purchase. A returns charge will be deducted from your refund amount. If the item returned is a gift, then a credit note will be issued to the value of the product being returned.
How do I exchange an item?
Unfortunately, we no longer offer an exchange service. If you require a replacement size, colour or style, please place a new order.
Can I return an item purchased in a store?
We cannot accept returns of items purchased at retail outlets. Please return those items to the retailer you bought them from with proof of purchase.
Can I return an item that was given as a gift?
Yes, however we can only offer a Gift Voucher to the value of the original purchase price less the £3 return charge.
If the item has the tag or label removed or missing a £5 restocking fee will also be deducted.
Can I return a personalised product?
Once an item has been personalised, it cannot be returned or exchanged unless the item itself was faulty. If something isn't quite right with your personalised item, please contact our customer service team at +44(0)1985 212291 or sales@dents.co.uk.
Ordering to Military Bases
Can I order items to a Military Base?
Please note we are not able to offer Express Shipping to APO addresses / Military Bases due to our carriers’ limitations. We can only ship to these addresses using standard postal services i.e., Royal Mail.
Changing an Order
Can I change my order?
Please email sales@dents.co.uk to cancel or amend an order with your # order reference and your request.
Unfortunately, it is not always possible to cancel or amend an order, especially during our busy periods.
Replacements and Repairs
I have lost one glove; do you sell replacement left or right-hand gloves?
Unfortunately, we are unable to supply a single glove as a replacement, all of our gloves are sold as pairs.
Can you repair gloves?
We currently offer some repair services. Please find our glove repair options here.
Can you re-line my gloves?
We currently offer a replacement service for cashmere and silk linings. Please find our full list of glove repair service options here.
My order has arrived faulty, what should I do?
Please contact our customer services team at sales@dents.co.uk with a brief description of the fault and an accompanying photo, so we can resolve your issue.
Gift Cards and Discount Codes
How do I use my discount code?
Please enter your valid promotional code during the checkout stage of your purchase to receive the discount. Discount codes cannot be applied to previously placed orders.
Can I use multiple codes on my order?
No, promo/discount codes cannot be combined with any other code.
How do I use a gift card?
When you have selected your item/s and are ready to pay, go to the checkout and apply the unique gift card code to your purchase. If the card value is below your order value you will need to pay the remaining amount by another payment method. If the gift card value is more than the order value, the remaining amount will still be valid on that gift card. Please keep the unique gift card code number that was sent to you, electronically, safe so you are able to use it again.
Gift Boxes and Messaging
Can I add a gift box with my order?
Yes, you can purchase a Dents gift box when you are selecting your item. Please note that some items are not eligible for a gift box. Tick the box to add the gift box and then you can also include a personalised message to accompany your gift. If you are choosing more than one item, we can add personalised messages to all items, as long as your have added a gift box to each style selected along with your message.
Messages will be printed on a separate card and placed inside the gift box of your chosen item.
Personalisation
Do you emboss wallets?
Yes, but only on certain styles. We are unable to emboss some styles due to the type of leather and/or design. Eligible styles will have the personalisation option visible. Please tick the box to select personalisation and then you can enter up to 4 letters in either gold, silver or deboss for that style. Please note personalised items are ineligible for exchanges or refunds unless faulty.
Do you emboss gloves?
Unfortunately, we cannot emboss or personalise any gloves.
RFID
What is RFID?
Many credit and debit cards are now embedded with RFID (Radio Frequency Identification) chips that contain personal information. Unfortunately, identity thieves can scan these chips and gain access to that personal information. We have designed a collection of wallets containing a protective shield that prevents your personal information from being accessed electronically. To ensure maximum protection, when not in use, keep your wallet closed.
Dents and the manufacturer of the RFID shield shall not be liable for any loss arising from your use of the protective shield including liability arising from unauthorised persons scanning any RFID chip kept in the product.

My driving gloves are slippery, is this normal?
The surface of new leather gloves may feel slippery at first, this will disappear over time with use. The gloves will gradually soften and improve your grip on the steering wheel. Using a cleaning product on your steering wheel may create a slippery surface.

Can I visit your museum?

Duties and Tax
Will I be charged customs duties and / or VAT on my goods if they are shipped to a European Union country?
We ship all orders from our UK warehouse. Orders shipped to EU countries have customs duties if applicable and VAT included in the price.
